Our Heart for the House
Our vision is to create a beautiful new worship sanctuary integrated with our current Nightingale campus.
This space will:
- Double our Sunday seating capacity
- Create stronger ministry environments for kids and students
- Better serve families
- Expand ministry opportunities throughout the week
- Strengthen our church’s ability to reach the next generation
- Provide a hard-surface playskape for the many children in our community to safely enjoy-- in loving memory of Avery Stark
- Position Upper Room for long-term Kingdom impact in our region
This isn’t simply expansion. This is preparation.
Preparation for the people God intends to send.
Long before Upper Room ever gathered at the Nightingale, God was already writing a story here. In 1979, a seed was planted in this place for ministry in our community. Decades later, through God’s faithfulness and the generosity of His people, that story continues.
When the opportunity arose to purchase The Nightingale, we knew this wasn’t just a real estate decision. It was a Kingdom opportunity.
By God’s grace, Upper Room purchased this property debt-free. That alone is a miracle.
But permanence was never the final goal. The vision has always been bigger.
Not simply owning property—but creating a home where lives are transformed for generations to come, and a place where our church and community can gather, grow, and experience life together.
