Is my giving tax-deductible?
Yes. Upper Room Church is a registered nonprofit organization, and all eligible donations are tax -deductible as allowed by law. You’ll receive a giving statement for your records at the end of the year.
Where does my giving go?
Your giving helps support the mission and ministry of Upper Room every week. It helps create environments for people to encounter Jesus, supports outreach efforts in our community, invests in the next generation, and helps us continue serving people locally and beyond.
Can I give toward specific initiatives?
Yes! In addition to general giving, Upper Room also provides opportunities to support specific initiatives and future ministry efforts, such as Legacy Projects. Simply select what you’d like to support when you give online.
Can I give non-cash gifts?
Yes! We also accept certain non-cash gifts such as vehicles, jewelry, life insurance, and other assets. If you have questions about a specific gift, our team would be happy to help.
What is planned giving?
Planned giving allows you to support the future mission of Upper Room through gifts such as retirement accounts, life insurance policies, trusts, or estate planning. We recommend speaking with your financial or tax advisor as you explore these options.
Can I give stocks or crypto?
Yes! Upper Room accepts gifts through stocks and cryptocurrency as additional ways to support the mission and vision of our church.
Can I request a physical copy of the annual report?
Absolutely. If you’d prefer a printed copy of our annual impact report, we’d be happy to provide one for you.
